There is no Struts book in the "Head First" series, though there is a "honorary" mention of the same in HeadFirst JSP and Servlets. I've personally found the online resources to be the best bet [specially the one at www.roseindia.net].
To provide a counterpoint, I generally steer people away from roseindia tutorials (see this thread for some reasons and similar opinions).

thank you dawn and david . and i saw roseindia.net, it looks good, but i also read the link given by david , in that people are a bit not confident about the quality of the programs, hmm... so i have to see what to do. i am thinking to buy o'reillys "programming jakarta struts by chuck cavaness". i saw in the link given by manoj, that book looks promising.
Anyhow one doubt....there are so many frameworks are there now a days like struts , springs , hibernate etc. which is the best framework and most used by current industry .
Try searching job sites to see which frameworks come up the most. After Struts 1 the Java web framework space fragmented--there are still lots of S1 apps being written (although I think that's silly), Spring MVC is popular, S2 is gaining some market share as far as I can tell but slowly, JSF/etc. is used in some places but I don't see it having widespread penetration outside of large corporate houses. Wicket, Tapestry, and Stripes all have a fairly small market share despite being pretty decent.
Some places are going to more service-oriented architectures using things like Spring, JAX-RS, S2's REST plugin, JRuby-on-Rails, and so on. What works best for *you* may depend more on your location and what people are hiring you (or who you work for) for.
