Limit of EmailID in TO address

Dear All

i have a requirement of sending mail for 4000+ customers.

Is there any limit of sending it only for a limited no of users at a time??

i have a java code which will send mail but dont know whats the limit of Email ID's in TO address

Because I have my company's customers list which will go above 3000

I didn't try anything, but I am not sure

Do not, under any circumstances, send email to customers in a way that any recipient could see the addresses of other recipients. That would be a major mistake in customer relations that will anger many of them.

Just send individual emails to all of them.

Sorry for the mistake "LIMIT OF EmailID's in BCC"

i will send it in BCC where Customer names will not get exposed & To address will be undisclosed receipent

My question is Mails for 4000+ EmailID has to be sent in a single shot

What the maximum limit to send it all @ once

I wouldn't use BCC, either. That significantly increases the chances of the mail being considered spam.

That's no problem. But it will be 4000 emails, not just one.

The mail isn't *sent* as spam, it's more likely to be classified as spam by the receiving side. There's nothing your provider can do about this.
