What a complete turn-around for the Jets, after going 4-12 last year!
Jason, we're comin' for ya beat-up Pats. ;-)

Hip, hip, hooray. The Giants and Jets made the playoffs in the same season for the first time since 2002, and only the second time in the past 20 years. But only once since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger have they both won a playoff game in the same year, with that singular feat coming in 1986. ----Don Banks, SI.com
Atleast one of you guys should brace yourself

The only time New Yorkers care about the J-E-T-S is when they are in the playoffs. Time for that bandwagon to get moving I guess. The Pats are playing angry right now and hitting their stride. I expect a good game but I don't expect the J-E-T-S will be going back to New Jersey happy.
And a special big thanks to Denver for losing to SF!!!

JM: The only time New Yorkers care about the J-E-T-S is when they are in the playoffs. I BEG your pardon!! I'm from Long Island, so I've been a Jets fan all my life. (I also follow Giants...) Yup, a Jets fan, through the many, many, many disappointing years.
Well, it'll be hard for them to go out and win three on the road, but certainly not impossible. I'm just so glad there in it. What a great accomplishment for Mangini. It is cool that he goes up against his mentor in his first year.
Now the Giants will benefit from the pathetic level of competition in the NFC. They could actually make it into the final round. It would be a real gift if they made the Super Bowl with the Jets. (Since the Jets would definitely kick the behinds.) :-)
BTW Jason, opening day is 89 days away, and we're picking up some decent arms... (Just gotta get rid of the Big Ruin-It...)

What the heck happened? I'm watching the game, they just score 3, putting them 7 behind New England. I leave to run an errand for 15 minutes and they're down by 21 !!
Poor San Diego. They played a solid game on both sides of the ball, but individual mental errors gave the game away. The sad thing was this was really their year, and we don't get too many of those in San Diego ... in any sport. Oh, well. I suppose we'll have to take comfort with our beaches and year round sunshine.

A little advice for San Diego, save the rallies until after the Super Bowl, not before a divisional playoff game.

But aren't rallies supposed to be fun and show support for the team? Your suggestion is we should have held off so that if the Chargers lost, we could have avoided the fun altogether, and if they won, we could have waited to show support until they didn't need it anymore.

Another way to look at is not to give a dangerous and more experienced opponent any material to get them even more fired up before the game (along with all the other antics that came out of SD leading up to that game). That might help keep them from doing that stupid "Lights Out" dance on the Bolt at the 50 yard line, and also keep Mr M-V-P from from looking like a sniveling cry baby afterwards.

Hey Jason,
Looks like Golden Boy and the rest of the Stepford Wives are going to be watching Superbowl XLI from their armchairs this year. No shouts of "Dynasty" from New England!
And dont start about the "genius of Belichick", I mean, the guy was wearing a hoodie indoors...
