XMLConfiguration in window and mac

hi all,



i shifted my java code from window to mac. and the below statement gives error when it is in mac. does anybody know what should be the correct path when put in a mac os?

the error msg is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.

Your post is remarkably lacking in details. For example, what library is XMLConfiguration defined within? It's not part of standard Java.

Please read this and take it to heart.

The most likely cause of these types of errors is failing to put the jar file in the classpath correctly.

sorry for the confusion. i refers to XMLConfiguration from apache common configuration here


could it be that the "configuration.xml" should be written differently in mac?

How could that affect a Class Not Found exception?

Where did you put the jar file?
