There once was a great comic strip called "Randolph Itch 2am". One day the strip showed the hero, Randolph, reading a poster "that which does not kill you makes you stronger" and he says "a few chocolate chip cookies wouldn't kill me" and later he says "now I feel strong enough to finish the whole box!"
