Dear Ravi,

Do you have an Apache httpd in front of the Tomcat server?

haha.......Its mean that I deleted my entry. I had said that you should check the DD, but I tried to delete my servlet mapping and it produced a HTTP Status 404 error code. So I have no idea what the problem could be other than a temporary resource overload on your server.

Dear Ravi,

In that case, check that you are not exhausting your connector thread pools. If that pool is exhausted, the Tomcat server may throw 503.

Can you give us more information? Does this application have many clients? Have you checked the logs? See this ranch thread for more info on connector threads.
