Hi all Ranchers
Today i am very happy because finally i cleared SCBCD with 100% marks before 4 days for which i was preparing from last 6 months .The most unexpected thing is 100%.I was expecting only 80%-85%.but after giving exam i thought that i can get 90% probably. But as i saw my score sheet i just shocked.I cryed there in front of 3-4 persons..."How come it possible....???". off course 2 beautiful girls was also there .but anyway all is ok.. they all just smile & asked for treat. till now i am felling that excitement......shocking exp.....
Thanks to java ranch from where i got a lot help when ever i required.........
But now from last 4 days i am confused that what to do now...because going for SCEA or SCMAD is not a good idea as these certification level is to high compare to my work exp. i have only 15 month exp.
Please suggest me that what to do now. where i should search job.because presently i am working in a company where i am doing copy paste(mostly ).This company don't work in EJB. I don't have any practical exp. in EJB. As i know very few companies used to work in EJB. so please suggest where & how i should search job. & also that is there any other certificate or technology for that i should go & that is profitable for me at this time. A huge confusion is there........
once again thanks to JAVARANCH....Rocksssssssssss

hi Priyakant..... i used only O'Relly EJB book & also i try many things practically because practical is very different from theoretical. If you are new in EJB & don't know how to run project then its really hard from my point of view.
Initially when i started preparation i got ejb code from book but it took 1 month to make it run on netbeans.
Probably you may run with in 2 days but i am talking about me, i took 1 month

Anyway just read one book, O'Relly EJB book is very good so you can go for this book & start preparing...........
Finally try ---.... all the best

Pankaj

Congrats on such a rocking score. Like you I am new to EJB and preparing from OR'eilly book(finished 2nd round of reading) but I am confused on following
1- Do I need to learn all annotations and XML mapping by heart
2- Do I need to code each and every example in the book.

Please guide me

Thanks

hii friend
congrats for what you have achieved.
i need a help.i have just started my preparations for scbcd .i have got a book called 'head first ejb' by kathy sierra and bert bates.is that good enough.
also they say the exam is on j2ee1.3 and not1.4.
are there 2 different exams scbcd5.0 and scbcd 1.3.if so whats the difference?
the book i have got doesnt cover ejb3.0.
things are looking complex.please sort it out for me..

That book does not work for the SCBCD5 exam, you have to search for EJB 3.0 in Action.

Hi Amirr
you need to learn all annotations and XML mapping by heart. just try its not hard. if you try out annotations and XML mapping by example you will find them very easy.
there is no need to try every example of book because every example is just a little part of a programe. you need to understand that how annotations and XML mapping works thats it. if you will try every example then you have to spent a lots of time. so no need to try everything But be sure before giving exam that you know how annotation works & how XML mapping works.
All the best
