My code looks as follow:

One can easy understand, iif I move the mouse oven image "Infomation", it will show the inofrmation on the middle position of the window.

But the problem is: the select dropdown component is just on the middle of the page and the information div is shown nor over but behind this component. Quite strange.

Any idea?

Still using IE6? Hopefully someday you can move away from that version.

ZIndex does not work with selects or Flash. You need to use an iframe behind your layer with the same size/position as the layer. So add an iframe to the page, give it the same properties as your div. set the z-index to 1 under your div.

This has been fixed in IE7 and has never been a problem with the real browsers.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
