Instead of getting a single column like rs.getString(1); , is it possible to get a whole row ?? is there any api support for this ??

Can you tell us in what format you'd expect to get a whole row of results? All columns are available from the "rs" object already, after all. What would you do with it that you can't do using the rs.getXYZ methods?
