jmx mail alerts for runtime parameters in jvm

hi

can any one help me on how to generate notification mails, if memory consumption and number of live threads exceeds some level in jvm by using jmx

any comment would very much helpful

JMX is more of a container, than a library -- meaning it is similar to the EJB or servlet container. What it is capable of doing depends on what services (mbeans) are loaded.

So, if you happen to have an mbean that instruments the data that you want -- and have an email mbean installed. I guess you can configure one to send notifications to the other (assuming they are compatible).
