I want a way to take complete back up of WAS with an intention to restore.

backupConfig and restoreConfig works great for configuration aspects but is there a way that takes backup of the deployed components as well and essentially when restored from that back up brings back the WAS instance to previous state with all application binaries, libraries etc deployed as well.

Any script samples or reference to any available websphere documentation will greatly help.

Thank you

There is a option on the manage profile command to backup a profile. I have never used the option, so not sure it is what you are looking.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
