How to get started with java speech api

hi,

I am supposed to do a speech recognition program in java.
i googled and found that java speech api is available for that.

i have gone through the documentation and i'm not clear on how to start.

i have searched this forum too but with little success. not many are using speech api here.

but somebody help me onhow to start with java speech api.
