JSTL - Problem with the bundle property on fmt:message

Hi guys,

To start with, I'm using JSTL 1.1.2, Servlet 2.4/JSP 2.0 and Tomcat 6.0 (and also standard 1.1.2).

Basically I wanted to use my second resource bundle on several jsp. This is what I did:

I end up with the usual message:

According to TLD or attribute directive in tag file, attribute bundle does not accept any expressions

I've seen other people on the forum with the same problem but it was always due to wrong JSTL or JSP versions.

I have no problems using EL throughout the application, only on this particular case.

If you have any idea why this is happening I'd be grateful.

Thanks,
Xnd

Usually this is a sign of mismatched versions, as you pointed out. What URI are you using to define the library on the page?

I'm using the standard URI:

It has to be something to do with the tld loaded from the jar or something doesn't it?

Thanks,

Wrong URI. That's the URI for JSTL 1.0.

Thanks, that did the trick. I just don't know how I didn't find this somewhere
