We are facing an issue on production that when ever a cluster is switched, database connection is lost.

So in order to simulate the same on local environment, we are trying to deploy the war on Jonas [windows environment ]

But When we deploy our applicaiton war on jonas, it gives up Java-heap exception given below:-

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

javax.servlet.ServletException: Java heap space

root cause

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache Tomcat/5.5.12 logs.

We also increased the size of JAVA HEAP by setting JAVA_OPTS in Jonas cofiguraiton file. but it did nt work, nd jonas has problam while startup only.

Wht is maximum size of war/ear that can be deployed on JONAS server?

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Sandeep,

There is no practical limit to the size of WAR/EAR files. Most likely you have a memory leak.

What memory sizes are you using? What is the precise stack trace from the logs?

"it did not work" is not a problem description. No cookie.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
