Hi, I'm got 80% in Whizlabs SCJP 5.0, and 93% in Marcus Green's 5.0 exam... I only know about System.console from Kathy and Bates' book and NavigableSet / NavigableMap from the same book and OReilly's Collections and Generics. What is the difference between 6.0 and 5.0, can I pass 6.0

This thread should be in the SCJP forum.

The major difference between SCJP 5 and 6 is that 6 has extra APIs to know (namely Console, NavigableSet, NavigableMap). So yes you can pass v6 with v5 prep as long as you also learn those new APIs.

For safe bets you should get over 80% in mock exams "consistently" before attempting the real thing.

From our SCJP FAQ: How is the SCJP 1.6 exam different from the SCJP 1.5?
