Hi,
I just love listening to motivational songs (especially Rock music).
My favourite are:

Scorpions: No Pain No Gain (Album: Face The Heat)
Survivor- Eye Of The Tiger
Judas Priest- Take on the World
Pink Floyd- Another Brick in The Wall
Kenny Loggins- Danger Zone
Job Bon Jovi- It's MY Life

What are your favourite ones? (in motivational category)

Cheers!

I saw the topic's subject and the first song that came to mind was Eye of the Tiger and there you had it in your favorite list.

The next song that I like in this category is not actually a motivational song but it's a song that can make me take my anger out just by rapping it along with Eminem. It's "The Way I Am". I just love this rap by Slim, he raps so angrily and I just love it.

No other songs come to my mind. But I will have to listen to "It's My Life". I always hated that song because my friends use to hear it all the time and that made me sick. Now that they might have got bored, I will start

Just to add one more thing: Where can I listen to any English song online? Not the torrents.

In college I used to play the last side of Don Ellis at the Fillmore (Great Divide, Pussy Wiggle Stomp) before going out. The most loud, fast, loose, wild and crazy big band jazz ever.

Haven't hear that name in a while

I don't know if its just my mood today, but the first song that leapt into my head was PJ Harvey's version of the the Leiber/Stoller classic "Is That All There Is?". Not very motivational. Maybe I should just stop working now and go to the pub...

When I was playing guitar in the '80s, my routine before a gig was to listen to the Pretenders' first album -- especially the last song, "Mystery Achievement."
