Hi Guys,

Would like to say thanks to all forum members for making this forum so lively.
My voucher was expiring on 04/30 and appeared for the exam on 04/30 :-)

I managed to score 81%...but was scared till I didnt get the report at prometric center.

To be honest, i didnt like the questions in scea part1...

cheers,
John

Reading material is mostly what others have already mentioned in the forum.

But my suggession is

1. not to get into any depth of design patterns to clear the exam.

2. Security questions are vague...So read whatever you can gather on security...but of course no security design patterns required.

3. ejb3 (just read the feature differences as compared to ejb2)

Hope this helps.

-John

Hi John,

Great! My best wishes for the next two steps.

May I ask to tell us if the number of right questions are mentioned or do we have to guess how many questions have to be ticked?

Congrats John ..

I would like to know how much depth knowledge needed to clear the part I in terms of JSF (out of 1 to 10)? Is it minimum level of knowledge is enough? I have experiences in J2EE tech (8 yrs) expect JSF. Just I want to know before going to write the exam.

all the best for another 2 exam.

Lucy: No guessing on answers. Question will mention how many answers are right.

Chandra: Regarding JSF, questions were not very clear.
I had not been through any JSF book though I have some hands on.

The two links are helpful:

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
