What will all those tubes contain when the internet is down ?
We're not supposed to mention this, but that's why it had to come down. One of the tubes developed a slow leak, and the gradual reduction in pressure was slowing down the entire network. The site of the leak was utter chaos: Zeros and ones spewed randomly about the domain... It was a bit unnerving. The tubes were flushed with a mild nitric acid solution before coming back online, so if your computer smokes a bit, that's probably why.
