What do you mean by "category"? Web services are a way of accessing one system from another over HTTP; they lend themselves to whatever use you can think of. They're certainly not limited to information of any particular kind (although they're better suited for textual data than for binary data).

I found this question in the whizlab simulator:

the right answer is 2) but I did't find any documentation about....
