I m hosting a website and want to use log4j for logging.

I m not aware and allowed access on the directories of the remote machine.

I want to generate the log file inside my app so that i can see it on the screen using my site.

How can i do it ?

Hi there,

Have a look at the various types of appenders (SMTP, JMX, console etc). If you can set up one pf those _and_ if your hosting site allows use of that technology then your website could have a module that reads from the appender and displays it on screen.
