Session scope form bean problem

In struts config, I have defined the bean scope as session(not request). Now, after submitting data to the database, I want to clear all attributes from session scope. I did that and saw that the attributes are not in session but when hit the back button and refresh the form, it again shows up with the previously filled values.
If I removed it from session scope, why it still shows up? May be because bean scope is session??
