I'm trying to find a GUI tool that connects to Derby in embedded mode. Can Eclipse is capable of this? If so,
where can I start??Any other tools worth exploring??

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
