Whats the future of java?

I am a big fan of java, and my bread and butter depnds on it

so i am bit worried about future of java after oracle acquisition,

my question to the community is:-

What will be the future of java, is there something to be afraid?

Much too meaningful, and -in a meaningless drivel forum- not likely to generate helpful responses; so I'm closing it.

There is a lengthy discussion about the Oracle takeover in this forum already; please participate in that, or post the question to one of the "Java" forums.

Note that it's hard to predict the future in a field as fast-paced as IT, though. The only certainty is that Java will eventually go away.
