super call in doGet and doPost are necessary

Hi!

When I create a new servlet in Eclipse, it automatically creates a template.

My doubt is why doGet and doPost call the super correspondents? I trying to find the source code to see what it does, but I didn't find yet, so I don't know if it is really necessary.
I'm using servlet-api.jar from Tomcat v5.5.

Thanks.

Remove them. The default action is to emit a "not supported" error.
