Hi All,
I am looking for an open source struts project to contribute so that i can gain real time experience in Struts.When i searched for "struts" in Sourceforge.net,freshmeat.com it is showing projects very high profiled projects like adding features to struts etc.
If any body is working on any struts related project and if you think that will be helpful to gain experience please let me know.

and one more thing they are expecting help in monetary sense 
I am looking for a project through which i can learn how to use struts in real time.When i searched for struts in Sourceforge.net it is showing very high end projects like improving the features of Struts adding new features to struts etc.

Your best bet is to buy a book or start with our FAQ and learn it by doing. Struts isn't so terribly complicated that one can't learn it after a couple of days playing with it. If it were complicated, it wouldn't be a very useful framework.

Learn Struts 1.x. Following book is very easy to follow & covers everything:
Professional Jakarta Struts by James Goodwill and Richard Hightower John Wiley & Sons © 2004
Do project/framework discussed in this book:
Struts.in.Action Manning Pub 2003 is Bible of Struts (Covers ver 1.x)
Struts2.in.Action Manning Pub 2008
These are best books for Struts framework.

I am planning to learn Spring framework as it has high demand in market.Do i need to know struts to learn Spring?.

Spring has it's own front controller, Spring Web Flow. It is also common to see Spring in use alongside Struts with Struts as the front controller and Spring handling object creation, data access, dependency injection and other tasks.

The one more reason i want to learn Spring is it has lot of things common with EJB 3.0 (I am just thinking).Actually i cleared my SCBCD 1.5 exam today.
