Hi ALL,

I need 2 clarifications.

1) How many maximum placeholdres/bind variables can preparedstatement can handle. Is there any maximum number for bind varaibles for preapared statement.

2) How much long query(length of the query) can handle by preparedstatement .Is there any query length limit for preparedstatement

Please provide information as soon as possible, possible post the links and documents if any.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regard,

I'm guessing number on is probably database dependent and number two certainly is. Have a look at your database documentation, there will probably be somethign in there about maximum statement size. One thing is for sure though, if you are going anywhere near a maximum you can pretty much guarentee you are doing something wrong.
