I'm trying to write a Spring-configured Quartz scheduler, running under Tomcat 6.x.

The issue I'm having is that my ContextLoaderListener is not firing, and never loads the Spring context.xml. I think this is because there are no servlets configured in my web.xml. Does anyone know a way to fire the listener?

Here's my web.xml:

Any ideas?

Maybe there is a typo somewhere, is there anything you notice in the console or logs for Tomcat.

You shouldn't not have to have any Servlet to load the ContextLoaderListener. It actually loads before any servlet would load anyway.
