axis2 ServiceLifeCycle is not up running

I am using Eclipse 3.4.2 and try Axis2 to build a web service.

One class has implemented ServiceLifeCycle as below.

public class MyAxisService implements ServiceLifeCycle {
	public static final String DB_CONNECTION = "dbconnection";
	@Override
	public void startUp(ConfigurationContext configctx, AxisService service) {
		System.out.println("start up");
        try {
            Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver");
            // Creating the DB connection for the sample DB
            Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/sss",
                    "root",
                    "password");
            //Storing the DB in the ConfigurationContext
            configctx.setProperty(DB_CONNECTION, conn);
        } catch (Exception e) {
            e.printStackTrace();
        }
    }
//.....

}

another class try to reuse this connection

public class Test {
	
	public String test(String ttt){		
		Connection conn = (Connection) MessageContext.getCurrentMessageContext().getProperty(MyAxisService.DB_CONNECTION);
      
        System.out.println("test "+conn);
        return "test";

	}

}

The output shows the conn object is null.

I realize that ServiceLifeCycle implementation is NOT up when axis servlet is going up. Maybe some configuration is wrong.

Anybody could help me on this ?
