Sun Certified Solaris Associate??

Hi there,

Im not sure if this is the correct avenue for asking the below, pardon me if its not.

I am in the finance industry, planning a move to the technology department, specifically to the development area. I am currently taking the SCJA, and once that is completed, will move on to SCJP. I also thinking of taking the Sun Certified Solaris Associate to complement the SCJA and SCJP because i read in many job descriptions that they require candidates to know UNIX as well. Can anyone advise me whether this is a wise move?
