I recently got window XP installed in a laptop. I face this issue..

Whenever I try to login as a user, I get a dialog box with the message "The product has to be activated with microsoft, Do you want to activate now? ". If I click OK, I get a message like, "The product is already activated" and it takes me again to the login page. The same thing happens when I click No in the dialog box.

The same thing happens for administrator also.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Why do you want to use substandard and unpredictable products? That too after shelling out money?
