[Tony Alicea: ] Very good parody, Paul...
You mean I was taken ? ..... Looked very real to me, very real. I,... actually this thing is scary. (to me) It will not be, oh what, a few decades ? before there actually is a class of persons who buy these things, have food an so on delivered: Total Belief Training (T.B.T.) will indoctrinate all who accept the Power of Plasma (P.O.P.) to Deliver the Goods (D.T.G.) and so on,...

Lets hear what marc has to say about parody being protected at the bench of law, then see how long is takes M$ $8,000,000 flagship to shoot this one off the wire.

No reasonable person could believe that this is representative of an actual Microsoft product. The big ass table appeared to work.

I have my own joke (or reality bit) about the Big Ass Table.

What is not shown in the accurate exposition (AKA parody) is the SHOP BUTTON that every Micro$oft BigAss or SmallAss table is designed around:

"Make sure" Micro$osft said to its designers, that we begin with a Big "Shop Button". Then design the rest of the product around it."

Don't know the history of this, but I wouldn't be surprised that Microsoft commissioned the original video, that was later modify with a different narrator.

This "vision" has been around for years. I remember seeing something like this from Sun, almost a decade ago, on this exact thing. They paid money to some "Think Tank" for this vision of the future. I wonder if Microsoft paid the same source.

Good deal for the Think Tank then, charging twice for the one thought!

It's also reminiscent of the Apple Knowledge Navigator video, which dates back about 20 years. That one also understood human speech.

Not someone who asks for definitions in the Meaningless Drivel forum without putting a smiley next to it.
