Anyone else got this? I had to use someone else's USB drive today and my firefox is screwed because of this USB worm!!! Damn I hate this.

If anyone knows how I can get rid of this virus, please let me know.

Thanks.

Macs can run Firefox too.

Sorry, I don't have more useful info for you. Other than to suggest running a good antivirus scan every night, with daily updates. I've always had good luck on my Windows box with AVG Anti-Virus Free. Good luck.

I have AVG on my system! Immediately after this virus hit me I scanned the entire system again with AVG but it came up with nothing, maybe they dont have a solution for this virus yet?

True, but this worm is designed to attack Microsoft Windows operating systems, and when the payload is triggered it then uses aspects of the Microsoft Windows operating system to block usage of Firefox (and access to a couple of web sites via IE). So this particular worm is not something that Mac users have to worry about.

Andrew: sure. I was just saying that if he switches to Mac, he can still use Firefox.

Did you check for updates before running the scan? Either way, I'd check again. There's always going to be some delay between when a new virus first appears, and when the various antivirus tools are able to deal with it.
