Dear All;

I need to get to a book that could be used as a study guide to enter the SUN-SCMAD CX-310-110 exam.

I need any refrences, links, mock exams and pdf's.

Is there any free book as pdf to download and get prepared?.

Many thanks for you all.

Best Regards,
Ahmed Abbas

Hi Ahmed,

When I was preparing for the SCMAD the only way I followed is reading the specs and doing some practical codings.

But I heard there is a reference for the exam now

As per the resposes, I think this book is good and since Sathya's short notes were very useful for me.

To my knowledge, I don't know of any free SCMAD books. The ones that probably come a little close are my notes (available at http://www.scmadbook.com) and some more notes from others that you can find at http://www.scmad.com. Of course, you can always get the specs for free from Sun.

Although there are a few books on J2ME, as far as I know, the only book targeted for the SCMAD exam itself is the one I have written with a few others. You are always welcome to purchase it at a bookstore in India (it is available outside India upon special request - details are on the website). You can find details at http://www.scmadbook.com/index.php/Book

Wow! I just checked the book you suggested and it's from Ko Ko Naing. As far as I know, he's a mainstay here at the Ranch.

It might be a good idea to talk to him directly or search for his posts regarding the book.

SCJP 1.2 (89%), SCWCD 1.3 (94%), IBM 486 (90%), SCJA Beta (96%), SCEA (91% / 77%), SCEA 5 P1 (77%), SCBCD 5 (85%)
