Its absolutely meaningless and deserves to be in this forum.
Warning : Only for those who have enough time to waste in this weekend.

I love cutting onions and I want to cut more.
I consider to be my latest passion apart from a few others.

So do you people consider this to be a disease? I have even gone home soon some days from office just to cut onions.

Would appreciate it people give some comments in the blog.

Do you enjoy cooking in general or just cutting onions?

Do you like onions in your food (do you order things with onions in a restaurant, where you don't get to cut them yourself)?

I don't specifically like cutting onions in particular, but I do enjoy cutting stuff up with my big honking $100 chef's knife.

I can't find exactly the one I have, but it's a Henckels santoku quite similar to this:

This is not an actual Japanese santoku, but a Western copy. The steel is hard but it's not the ultra-hard (brittle) Japanese santoku steel; so it's not quite as sharp as a real santoku, but it's a lot less fragile.
