Hi ,

I have two machines with websphere application server/deployment mgr(with HTTP Server also) installed on both of them. And I had my application deployed and running on both of these app servers. We have been provided another ip(BIG IP) with an url. I need to acheive load balancing of both the app servers and able to access my application with the url provided. Any help is greatly appreaciated...

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Ashok

Download the BeenThere WLM (Workload Management) sample from IBM. It also comes bundled with WAS ND 6.1 version. It will show you how cluster is configured at WAS level.

Your BigIP will sit in front of group of IHS Servers. You can select the round robin + session affinity option to configure the IHS IPs in bigIP.

Your client will hit the BigIP virtual IP. The IHS's plug-in knows about the WAS Web Container IPs.

Until next time
