Lattes. I stopped drinking alcohol 8 or 9 years ago.

(Well... In the winter, I'll occasionally have a Bailey's Irish Creme or two. But otherwise, I don't miss drinking at all.)

Alcohol just puts me to sleep. In no particilar order, I drink: OJ, coffee, lime-ade, water, green tea, and the very occasional diet soda.

And I love me the occasional frappuccino.

I rarely imbibe, no real reason it's just something I do too often, but it would be red wine (local), Jack's and coke or beer (local).

Most of the time, club soda and lime, because the little ones keep me so tired, alcohol usually just knocks me out. But if I'm feeling up to it, microbrew India Pale Ale is generally my first choice; Dogfish Head is a current favorite. At a fancy schmancy restaurant, an old Cabernet, sometimes a Shiraz. And at a cocktail lounge, a dry Gibson (vodka martini) -- the real thing, no crazy chocolate or fruit or such nonsense.

I just read back over the above and chuckled -- I really dislike sweet beverages, it seems.

Wine, beer (Yebisu,1664,...), shouchuu (potato, especially one called Shimabijin). Whiskey (Four roses).
I don't drink much wine these days, although that's what I prefer most. Especially, red and rose.

I try to live a healthy life nowadays, so I don't drink much alcohol, just a glass of red wine with dinner.
And when it's cold outside or I've got a soar throat I'll have the occasional glass of whisky or calvados.

One drink I really like is Belgian, cherry-flavored beer. Has anyone else tried this? I never buy it anymore because it's a dangerous drink for me: once it's in the fridge I can't stop drinking it and I don't want to end up big like a whale.
