2) My assigment size came around 339 KB? is it okay ?

Thanks

1. Yes.
2. I think it doesn't matter file size will be 100K or 100GB, if I am an evaluator, file size will not be a criterion.

Does it ask for the images to be in a particular format on the exam?

I've always considered JPG and GIF to be more universal formats. I know that whoever is marking my exam will at least have a web brower on their machine that can open a GIF or JPG image. If you have the same confidence with the png format, then you should be fine.

It's hard to tell if your assignment is ok based solely on its size. :P

339KB sounds fine, and it shouldn't pose a big uploading problem. I reduced the number of colors in my images and had a jar file that was less than 100K. But 339K doesn't sound too bad in itself.

Good luck!

You just compress all of your images into a single zip file. The Java format for the zip file is simply .jar. But it's nothing more than a zip file with a .jar extension.

kumar ,
My Assignment mandated to create a html document. I used ms-word to create html document and put all images in it. You just have to archive and upload it.

Note: I had problem uploading the assignment. I used Open Office to regenerate html file which was very small and uploaded faster.
