portlets processaction method

in my registration page. i have a cancel button. when i click that one i have to go to home page(this page is different page).

i wrote the code

response.sendRedirect("/web/jsp/home"); this line is in processaction method of class file

when i tested it firsttime it went to home page. but after giving somevalues in textfields and doing validation checking. suddenly i clicked the cancel button. but it is not going to home page . this is so many times happen.

my requirement is at anytime user might click cancel button. then control should go to home page.
please somebody help me , please give the code.
