How do i remove an item from a drop down box . Im using the same drop down box for two pages where in one page only 4 items should be populated whereas when the second page is loaded all five items should be displayed .

How i can remove one item from the drop down box when it is loaded itself .

How should i do this using java script.

Drop Down Box = select element?

Why would you not want the server to do this? Would make more sense.

If you really want to do it with JavaScript:

Doing this in JavaScript is nonsense. Do it on the server before that page even gets to the browser.
