Polymorphism

Schema A:

<element name="recipe" type="ab:recipe"/>
<complexType name="menu">
<sequence>
	<element name="chineseRecipe" type="ab:recipe"/>
	<element name="numberItems" type="integer"/>
</sequence>
</complexType>

XML Document which uses Schema A:

    
<menu>
	<chineseRecipe xsi:type="cd:recipe">
		<mainIngredient>2424324</mainIngredient>
	</chineseRecipe>
	<numberItems>8</numberItems>
</menu>

So the element chineseRecipe will now have the cd:recipe type and not the ab:recipe type as defined in the schema.

But how do we check whether cd:recipe is in anyway inherited from ab:recipe???
