Hi.....everybody

can you please explain to me what is SCM?Is it installed on client side or server side?

SCM is the abbreviation for source code management. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revision_control for further details.

To elaborate on Tim's answer, it is installed on both. The server typically contains the repository of data. After all you want this to be available even if someone is out. The client is installed on the client to connect to the repository.
