I can't expand my <rich:tree> =(

in my project when I put this tree to load an object with childs it shows the tree as 'folder', and when it doesnt have childs, it shows as 'file'
so Im assuming its loading everything right in the database, but when I click in the tree to expand nothing happens, Ive tried googling it but haven't found nothing about this...
please, someone help me
