Can anyone tell me
what is the advantage of spring over struts.
Dependency Injection is the basis of spring.
But struts also implements Dependency Injection.
Then how spring is good than struts.
Spring is a much bigger framework than struts. Struts can be compared to one part of Spring that is Spring MVC. Apart from this Spring provides many other things like:
- AOP support
- Data access techniques integration (eg JDBC)
- security framework from spring-security
- Support for webservices frameworks.
- JMX support
