i want to ask that.... wat is the difference between declaring as

and declaring as

new dog();

which one reference to object and which is reference... i am whole lot confused about the reference meaning and object meaning...is new dog() the object or dog d an object...

Dog d = new Dog();

Dog is the reference-type
d is the reference variable
new Dog(); is the expression which creates the object in the heap.

Generally we can say "object d" even though it is not technically correct.
