I've a typical problem running a small program on application server. My Question is- is there any way to know server is running in what mode ? I can easily check this in my local machine. But in case of remote server what can I do ? Can it be possible to find out using small java code ?

Thnx in adv....

Prithwish, what exactly is the server mode that you are looking for? Can you provide more details?

There is no setting within JBoss AS to identify it as running in one of the modes you posted. The only way you can know is to ask the person who set up JBoss AS what its intended use is.
