Hi,

I not able to figure out, why I'm not able to run my Tomcat while offline. It's running fine whenever I go online. Why is that so? could anyone please tell me?

Thanks in advance.

What does "not able to run" mean - does it crash? Are there errors or exceptions? If so, which ones?

How was Tomcat installed?

How are you starting (or trying to start) Tomcat?

Are you trying to do this through an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse?

@Bill

The Tomcat is installed in C drive in the folder Tomcat 5.5. I don't try to do this through an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse.

@Ulf

It's has not crashed. Before running web app from the browser, I do start it. But it is still not running fine whenever I be offline. I don't understand why?

But it is still not running fine whenever I be offline.

How do you start Tomcat? With the startup.bat file or what?

Am I correct that you can start a browser on the same machine and see the Tomcat start page at http://localhost:8080/?

If you use the Windows Task Manager, can you see Tomcat as a running process?
