Hi
How up-to-date is the book which covers FX 1.1 and the recent release of javaFX 1.2?

All code samples as published work on JavaFX 1.1 and 1.2. On the site, www.jfxbook.com, we've updated the samples to JavaFX 1.2.

Unfortunately, JavaFX 1.2 was released two weeks ago at JavaONE, and our production schedule did not allow us to put in all the changes that JavaFX 1.2 had. However, JavaFX 1.2 is mostly incremental on top of JavaFX 1.1. For example, the Sudoku application only had 2 lines of code changed, and these were somewhat optional. We changed them any way to show the new preferred way of positioning nodes.

I wrote an article for InformIT that details some of the important changes in JavaFX 1.2,
http://www.informit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1352545

We are presently working on updating the book for JavaFX 1.2 and will make those available
on our website, http://jfxbook.com, and yes we are also keeping an eye on JavaFX 1.2-Next.
