I am glad to announce that I passed SCJP 6.0 with 82% today morning.
I was a silent and an inactive user here. I only visited the site for a couple of minutes a day. But even then you guys have been a big help in boosting the enthusiasm. Thanks a million for that.
I studied K&B and Devaka Exam Labs.. Big thanks to Devaka. He is great. I will donate small amount today to your project.
The questions in real exam were really very very simple, compared to K&B and Exam Lab.
One thing i would like to mention is that the exam software itself is buggy. I was asked to make two selections and was given a radio button to chooose from.

I'm a new user on this forum. i'm also planning to give my SCJP 6 exam. currently i'm reading K&B... now i'm on chapter 7. I have downloaded Devaka's exam lab but yet not touched any of the exams yet..... Can you please tel me how did you prepare for it? How many times did you read K&B and how many times you solved examlab? 'm planning to give the exam on last day of june? would that be enough time for me to prepare or should i pospond it to 1st week of july.
Please help me.....and do let me know your preparation way.....

Im also preparing and will be writing it soon. How much % you were getting in your Devaka's mock exams?

I do not remember exactly, but I can say that first three exams the max score for me was 45%, nothing more than that. Final exam i scored about 50%
But then after each exam, i really worked on understanding the answers for both my correct and wrong responses. I spend hours in that analysis. Basically ExamLab was more of a navigator to point my weeknesses and make me read those chapters again in K&B.

I read K&B once. Then i took a few days break. I revisited all teh chapters.. this time i seriouslly made notes, and used marker pens to mark important sections. I wrote and marked book so much that it was all yellow and blue...
then i did K&B mock exams.. then ExamLab. I spend more time with ExamLab then K&B exams..
