This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Mikado Method and have Ola Ellnestam and Daniel Brolund on-line! See this thread for details.
In my never-ending quest to find the most awesome camera you can stick in your pocket, I've come across the G9, seems like this one is getting pretty close to ideal:
- shoots in raw - tons of manual controls - 6x optical zoom - image stablization
Some folks are saying they wish the sensor was higher quality, bigger, and maybe not so many pixels...
Anyone got any other ideas?, comments?
Eliminate fossil fuel subsidies. (If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much room.)
i got a G7 which is neither big not pocketable. And ever since I always thought that it was better to have a slick quick use pocketable and an SLR rather than one in the middle.

With two cameras strategy (SLR + pocket camera) G9 would be good substitutio for SLR and it is much smaller. The only thing that is missing is wide angle. How about getting G9 + pocket camera with wide angle.
