Hi guys, my name is Jeffry. I am new to this Tomcat forum. I'll be happy if you want to help me with my little problem.

I wanted to know how to integrating Tomcat to Apache Web Server.
What if I just simply changed the port number that the Tomcat listen on to 80 ? Will the Tomcat become a web server ?

Thank you for reading my topic. Your help will be a great contribution to my learning experience.

Thanks

If you don't need any of the "extras" that the Apache Web Server has (like PHP), using Tomcat stand-alone should work just fine.

There's a connector to do so. I'm sure it'll be easy to find instructions online. I wouldn't go through the pain and aggravation unless it was necessary.
